Detail 1 - Bread is a key ingredient in our menu. We have chosen the most suitable option for each product and that’s why we have 12 different types of bread.
Detail 2 - Our lactic products (milk, yoghurts, etc.) are provided by Granja Armengol, from the Vic area. We’re specially pleased to offer their top-quality products.
Detail 3 - Our virgin olive oil is top-quality and it’s produced with arbequina olives (the small ones with more flavour) at a cooperative in Les Borges Blanques, near Lleida.
Detail 4 - The milk we use is fresh. This slightly complicates stock management due to product expiration and difficulties in keeping it cool, but the quality of the final product is unbelievably better.
Detail 5 - The coffee is natural and 100% arabica (which is top-quality, unlike the robusta variety). Our coffee roaster produces a blend specially for us, using Brazilian, Colombian and Ethiopian varieties. We love the coffee that we serve!
Detail 6 - All our juices are fresh and are made right in front of you. We believe that fresh juices are better, and that’s why we do not sell packaged juice.
Detail 7 - Selecting a good Iberian ham is not easy since each one of them is different (dryness, more or less fat…). That’s why we’ve chosen a ham expert who carefully selects every product and guarantees us the best quality.
Detail 8 - The special taste in our lentil salad is given by “Ras el Hanut”, a Moroccan spice blend. It literally translates into “the head of the shop” and it refers to the best spice a shopkeeper can offer.
Detail 9 - You can chose from 4 different vinaigrettes to combine with your salads: honey&mustard, red pepper, ginger and mint&lemon. We make them ourselves with virgin olive oil and they are included in the salad’s price.
Detail 10 - The Chez Juice is already a SandwiChez’s classic; made with orange, apple and carrot. We sell more Chez Juices than we do water!
Detail 11 - You can tell the uniqueness of SandwiChez even in the simplest of products, like the Bikini. The ingredients we use are topmost quality.
Detail 12 - If we’re not told otherwise, we serve milk coffee with cream, like Italian cappuccinos. Frothing the milk is not a trend: when it’s done properly, the taste of the foam makes the coffee sweeter and flavourful.
Detail 13 - All our baristas are trained when they join our team, learning to do the heart-shaped cappuccino (a SandwiChez feature!). If the coffee is not to your taste, you can give it back, we’ll make it again!
Detail 14 - Many customers are surprised by the lack of background noise in Sandwichez. That’s not a coincidence… our establishments are equipped with anti-reverberation panels placed on the ceiling to absorb noise.
Detail 15 - We are told that the atmosphere in SandwiChez is nordic, but it also makes customers think of London or New York… Well, we can tell you we’ve used many places as an inspiration, but the tables and the chairs come from El Baix Empordà!
Detail 16 - We understand that a slow service is annoying and that’s why we’ve designed a system that allows us to serve any order within 3 minutes, under normal circumstances. We hope it has worked for you. If you are not satisfied with the service, please let us know!
Detail 17 - We like to think of our showcase as our menu. Products are displayed for you to see them, so you will rarely make the wrong choice. We make the sandwiches according to sale forecast so it’s possible that sometimes you don’t find them displayed. In that case, we can make your sandwich of choice at any given time, just ask us!
Detail 18 - The New York Deli sandwich is already one of our best sellers. It contains roast beef, which comes from top quality cows or oxen and it’s roasted in the oven. Roast beef sandwiches are a classic in the United States, making its way even into the city of skyscrapers; that’s where our sandwich’s name comes from!
Detail 19 - Although we are often asked to, we don’t franchise. We want to impregnate our DNA in all our premises and a franchise would require sharing the brand SandwiChez with other people who might not take it as seriously as we do.
Detail 20 - Once a week our R+D team meet up in search of new products. This team is composed by 6 members of the staff who taste new proposals and study how they can be adapted to our menu. This way we can present new products periodically. We hope that you enjoy them from time to time!
Detail 21 - When the first SandwiChez opened its doors in 2010, suppliers were meticulously selected and very have changed since then. We believe that suppliers are long-term partners and we only make changes if it means it allows us to improve our range.
Detail 22 - We have a gluten-free sandwich menu, with a variety of warm and cold sandwiches. The bread we use was chosen by a group of people who can’t consume gluten after a testing meeting.
Detail 23 - We are specially satisfied with our flute bread with tomato! We use top-quality ingredients, the right amount of grated tomato, arbequina olive oil and narrow flute bread which has a long fermentation that produces its characteristic bubbles.
Detail 24 - The Iberian bellota ham flute is one of our best sellers. We wanted to recreate a classic with top-quality products. It’s made with Iberian bellota ham shavings, the part which is right next to the bone and therefore the tastiest one.
Detail 25 - When it comes to refreshing, there’s no better choice than our iced drinks! We offer quite a variety of these cold drinks; from coffee & tea, up to chai latte, matcha latte, or even chocolate. There’s an option for everyone!
Detail 26 - SandwiChez’s sweet and refreshing choice during the summer is our frozen milkshake, Frappuchez. You can find it in a variety of flavours: coffee, chocolate and chai latte… They are great!
Detail 27 - Our Mexicano sandwich is made out of durum bread, chicken, gouda cheese, onion and coriander (fresh and aromatic herb used in Mexico to make salsas and tacos) and chipotle chilli (a variety of chilli that is smoked and dried).
Detail 28 - We take our customers’ preferences very seriously, that’s why we have included up to four vegan sandwiches; the Avocado nolita, the Heura wrap, the Vegano and the Falafel. You don’t have to be vegan to enjoy these wonderful sandwiches!
Detail 29 - Made with fruit, milk and topped with whipped cream, our Milkshakes are known for their incredible mix of flavors. There are two options: Açaí or strawberry, each one always accompanied by banana. Let yourself be amazed by its refreshing and sweet flavor!
Detail 30 - There’s nothing more comforting than our chai lattes. They’re made with David Río’s chai spices and we have four kinds: chai latte (with and without sugar), dirty chai and vanilla chai. Delicious!
Detail 31 - The most healthy and fresh choice during summer is a Smoothie! They are made 100% with fresh fruit, apple and no added sugar! We have three kinds: Mango, pineapple & passionfruit; Strawberry & banana; and Açaí & banana. Irresistible!
Detail 32 - Our Green Detox Juice it’s made with apple, celery, lemon, ginger and kale. This last one ingredient, the kale, has a high nutritional value and counts with a great antioxidant power. That’s where its name comes from!
Detail 33 - The Multivitamin Juice contains kale, ginger, pineapple, carrot and orange. This mix is a bomb of vitamins, perfect to start the day with energy!
Detail 34 - The project’s most important asset is the SandwiChez staff. We are at your service and we will do whatever is in our hands for you to have a positive experience so you’ll want to come again.
Detail 35 - SandwiChez is a project based on client loyalty and we are thrilled to be a part of the everyday life of many people who visit our establishments almost daily. We aspire to be a place of reference in every neighbourhood, a place where people feel comfortable and that they visit frequently.
Detail 36 - We follow the Conscious capitalism movement which promotes companies that are committed to their environment (workers, clients, neighbours, suppliers, investors, etc) and therefore contribute to a better evolution of humanity.
Detail 37 - Almost all our establishments are situated at street intersections, which is not a coincidence. These are more visible but the most important reason is that they receive more natural daylight which makes it more comfortable.
Detail 38 - Although the product, the service and the way of working of each establishment is the same, we like every one of them to have its own personality, that’s why they are all painted in different colors. Green, blue, yellow, red, pink establishments… soon we’ll run out of colors!
